jon stewart got mad at me when i was in the bathroom too long preparing for my performance. i was another whale. i was wearing a red leotard and a green dress made out of gauzy stuff like my grandmom's dish rags. everyone in the auditorium could hear my dad. i woke up humming for the second day in a row.
